Plant your own tree in Iceland Day Tour

The tour takes you to some of Icelandʼs most hidden and remote places, weʼll stay off the beaten track and spend time to explore phenomena of geology and natural wonders and stay as much as possible away from main traffic roads.

The tour begins with pick up from hotels in Reykjavik, meeting point is BSI bus station Reykjavik.

The pick up at Hotels is from 8:00 am. Weʼll begin with a visit to a Plant Nursery to learn a bit about reforesting plan for Iceland and there you can choose from five species of trees your own tree to plant later on the tour.

Your guide will decide where to go from there based on weather and his inspiration for the day. On the tour we will use the time to explore hidden wonders of Icelandic nature like Waterfalls, Lava and Geological formation and dramatic sceneries of different landscape. On one of those beautiful spots you are going to plant your little tree to grow there for decades to come. The guide will also give you the GPS coordinates so you can see how your tree grows via Google Earth or other satellite software.

On the tour you will experience dramatic lava fields, dormant volcanoes, beautiful waterfalls, unique geological phenomena and hopefully a lot of the surprises Iceland has to offer.
