Salty Reykjanes Departure Tour

After leaving the capital we’ll drive through black lava fields, moss covered lava formations and up on to dormant volcanoes. The tour brings us to the lake Kleifarvatn, the largest lake in south west Iceland and has beautiful scenery surrounded with volcanoes and breathtaking landscape for a good photo stop.
The next stop is colorful geothermal area at Seltun and Krysuvik where you can have a walk to enjoy the colors and a smell of sulfur. We’ll drive further trough the lava field of Ögmundarhraun in to the fishing town Grindavík, learn a bit about the most important economy for Iceland, the fish industry and have a look into a Shark curing shack for a taste of Shark, “Hákarl and Brennivín” Icelandic schnapps.
We arrive at the Blue lagoon geothermal spa at 12:15, you have about 2 hours for bathing and then take the schedule bus to Keflavik airport at 14:15, arrive at airport 14:50
